No account is required. Simply enter a display name and choose an avatar when you first visit, and you can start playing immediately. Your username is stored locally in your browser session only.

Absolutely. QuizOxa is fully mobile-responsive and works on all devices — smartphones, tablets, laptops, and desktops. No app download is needed to play in your browser.

From the home page, scroll down to the category grid and click on your preferred category. Then choose a difficulty level (Easy, Medium, or Hard), and your quiz will begin immediately with 10 questions.

QuizOxa currently features over 400 quiz questions across 8 categories. Each category contains 5 unique quizzes with 10 questions each, giving you 50 questions per topic. Quizzes are selected randomly each time, so no two games are identical.

We offer 8 categories: Islamic Knowledge, Football, Science, Global History, Technology, World Geography, Mathematics, and General Knowledge. Each category spans Easy, Medium, and Hard difficulty levels.

Yes! After you answer each question (whether correct, wrong, or timed out), an explanation box appears beneath the options explaining the correct answer and providing additional context. This makes QuizOxa a genuine learning tool.

We thoroughly check all our questions, but mistakes can happen. If you believe an answer is incorrect, please use our Contact page to let us know. Include the question text and category, and our team will review it promptly.

Points are awarded per correct answer based on difficulty: Easy = 100 points, Medium = 150 points, Hard = 200 points. Incorrect answers and timeouts score 0 points. Your total is displayed in the navbar during gameplay.

A streak appears in the quiz header when you answer 2 or more consecutive questions correctly. It's a visual motivator showing how many questions in a row you have answered correctly. The streak resets to 0 on any wrong answer or timeout.

Easy: 30 seconds per question. Medium: 20 seconds per question. Hard: 15 seconds per question. The circular timer turns gold when under 10 seconds and red when under 5 seconds, alerting you to answer quickly.

If you do not answer before the timer reaches zero, the question is automatically marked as incorrect. You score 0 points, your streak resets, and the explanation for the correct answer is shown. You can then proceed to the next question.

After completing a quiz, click the "Share" button on the results screen. This opens WhatsApp with a pre-written message containing your score, accuracy percentage, points earned, and a link to QuizOxa — so your friends can challenge you.

The leaderboard on the home page shows example top players for illustration. A live global leaderboard with real player scores is planned for a future update. Stay tuned!
